CIVIL Airline ATE

Our staff has significant experience porting civil airline Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) TPSs to the IRIS 2000 and IRIS 7000 ATEs. Since 1997 we have maintained a close relationship with JcAIR, the manufacturer of the IRIS 2000 and IRIS 7000 ATE systems, and worked closely with LRU manufacturers Aerospatiale, Sextant and others.

We recently participated in a large-scale rehosting of Airbus TPSs from ATEC to IRIS 7000 for a well-known airline. This process included assessing the capabilities and workings of the ATEC ATE system so that we could design new interface devices and effectively port the older programs to take advantage of the increased capabilities and functionality of the newer automatic test equipment.

Additionally, we performed software revision support for major civil airline avionic line replaceable units. This entailed evaluating changes made to the existing OEM test specifications by the equipment manufacturer, analyzing their effect on the functionality of the test program and then making appropriate changes to the test program software and hardware. These changes were then integrated on the automatic test equipment to ensure that the OEM test specification changes worked as designed and that no anomalies were created with the unchanged portions of the test program.
